Located in the North West corner of the University of Waterloo (UW), the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) houses the university’s 6 lane, 25 yard indoor pool. Built in 1968, it is now part of a much larger 13,903 square metre athletic complex that serves the more than 28,000 full and part-time students at UW. Although one of the oldest pools in Waterloo, UW’s pool has been exceptionally well maintained and continues to host a myriad of aquatic programs offered through the university’s Athletics and Recreational Services.
Club Warriors is proud to make the UW pool its home!
Directions to the UW Pool
Access to UW's Ring Road and the PAC can be made either from University Avenue West or Hagey Boulevard just off of Columbia Street West. Although very short-term metered parking is available directly in front of the PAC, families and visitors are encouraged to park in the Pay & Display parking lot designated 'M' on the map below.

Enter the PAC from the North entrance (previously called Blue North) by the 'M' parking lot. Proceed down the stairs and go through the doors. The women's temporary change room is immediately to the left. For the men's change room, follow the corridor past the Customer Care Centre. Pool access is through the temporary hallway near the Customer Care booth for both men and women. Please refer to the signs posted on the walls throughout the building and consider wearing deck shoes/sandals for the walk from the change room to the pool. No outdoor shoes are allowed on deck.
Access to the pool viewing gallery is one floor up.
