Pointe-Claire AA-AAA Invitational

CW Shines in Quebec

Club Warriors made what is now “Their Annual Pilgrimage” to the Pointe-Claire Invitational on the weekend of December 9-12. A bus load of determined CW swimmers made the 7 hour trip to Montreal to compete against some unfamiliar faces. The competition actually runs two meets simultaneously with Short Course Prelims and Long Course Finals. The Warriors finished in 3rd place behind the host team from Pointe-Claire and the team from Markham.

Highlighting the Warrior results was fourteen year old Tori Meklensek who took the High Point Award for the 13-14 girls. Tori came home with 5 Individual Medals, 4 Gold and 1 Silver. She also contributed in the Freestyle leg of the 4 x 50 Medley Relay that swam to the Bronze Medal.
